Account Deletion Request
This page explains how to delete your Study Katta account and the data linked to it. Study Katta is an Android app for Maharashtra competitive exam preparation, developed and operated by Ai Digital Wizard. You can request deletion whether or not the app is still installed on your phone.
1. How to request deletion
- Email support@studykatta.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request".
- Include the phone number or email address you sign in with, so we can find your account. If you can, send the email from that address.
- We confirm, then delete. We reply within 48 hours. If we cannot match the request to your account, we ask you to confirm you own it before anything is deleted. Your account and data are deleted within 30 days of that confirmation, and we email you when it is done.

- ॲपमध्ये लॉगिन करण्यासाठी वापरलेला फोन नंबर किंवा ईमेल त्या ईमेलमध्ये लिहा.
- आम्ही ४८ तासांत उत्तर देऊ. खाते तुमचेच आहे याची खात्री झाल्यानंतर ३० दिवसांच्या आत तुमचे खाते आणि माहिती हटवली जाईल.
कायद्यानुसार आवश्यक असलेल्या पेमेंटच्या नोंदी ८ वर्षांपर्यंत ठेवल्या जातात. बाकी तुमची सर्व माहिती हटवली जाते.
3. What we delete
- Your account — your sign-in record (phone number and/or email address) in Google Firebase Authentication.
- Profile — name, display name, profile photo, target exam and referral code.
- Test scores and learning history — tests attempted, answers, scores, time spent, mistakes, practice sessions, revision progress and your leaderboard entry.
- Eligibility details — date of birth, category, qualification and gender, if you entered them for the recruitment (भरती) eligibility checker.
- Bookmarks and saved items — saved questions, videos, podcasts, PDFs, current affairs and recruitments, and podcast listening progress.
- Referral history linked to your account.
- Notification details — the device token used to send you notifications.
- Activity records linked to your account, such as premium-content unlock activity.
4. What we keep, and for how long
- Payment records for Study Katta Pro purchases — plan, amount, date and payment reference — are kept for up to 8 years, because Indian tax and accounting law requires it. They are used for nothing else. We never store card, UPI or bank details; the payment itself is also recorded by Razorpay under Razorpay's privacy policy.
- Your deletion request email is kept for up to 1 year, as the record that we received and completed it.
- Crash reports and app analytics are collected by Google Firebase without your name, phone number or email address, and are removed automatically under Google's retention periods.
- Totals that identify no one — for example, how many tests have been taken on Study Katta — are not personal data and are not affected.
5. Before you ask
- Deletion is permanent. Your test history, scores and saved items cannot be recovered afterwards.
- An active Pro plan ends when the account is deleted. Pro purchases are covered by our Refund Policy.
- Want to remove only some data? Email us with what you want deleted and we will remove it without closing your account.
- Uninstalling the app does not delete your account. To delete your data, send a request as described above.
